Second Act Contracting LLC is a residential general contracting business focused on thoughtful, well-built improvements for the home. I specialize in landscape design, fencing, retaining walls, and reliable handyman services—both inside and outside the house. By completing all work myself, I keep overhead low and maintain direct communication with clients, which leads to better coordination, fewer misunderstandings, and results that stay true to the original vision.

The name Second Act reflects both a new chapter for the homes I work on and my own professional journey. After transitioning from a decade plus career in accounting/finance, I bring the same discipline, planning, and respect for budgets into all my projects. My experience in the industry has been shaped by more than a decade of maintaining and improving two 1930s-era homes with my wife who has an architectural background, giving me a practical understanding of older construction and its unique challenges. I enjoy involving clients early in the design process—when desired—to ensure ideas are aligned, details are thought through, and the final outcome feels both intentional and personal. My goal is to deliver solutions that respect a home’s character while improving its function, durability, and long-term value.
