Paver designs often incorporate intentional gaps that allow grass or low, step-able plants to grow between units. This approach improves drainage, reduces runoff, and adds a softer, more natural look to hardscape areas. Turfstones and other permeable paver systems are also excellent options, especially for driveway applications.
